I was using golden vow because I started the game wanting to be a confessor paladin build but then I kinda went to a katana shield build. I use carian retaliation on my shield combined with the bell. Heck, a strength build doesn't hate a Heavy Nagakiba. Really depends on the stats you're going for if you're going full dex probably keen for example or if you're going for arcane then bleed. Arcane would be better with occult, since it has natural blood loss.
