Coleman ct200u governor removal
I have a stock coleman bt200x. The only mod I did was remove the throttle stop screw which got me up to 25mph. I would really like to get to at least 30 since I ride mostly in the street where the speed limit is 25 or 30. The loose spring in picture 4 is what used to be the throttle spring. You will need to find out if it still has the governor or not then go from there with the linkage. At the very least you will need a new throttle spring that is visible in the picture. If you notice the spring is connected where yours has a bolt.Product Description. Those engines do not have an oil sensor. Replace the spark plug first to eliminate it as a possibility. If it still will not start remove the green ground wire (10mm gas tank mount nut) to create an open circuit for the kill switch. If it starts the kill switch is bad.
