Girl, I was 1cm dilated from 37 weeks to my induction at 42 weeks. My cervix was an awful indicator of when I'd go into labor (I never went into labor naturally, unfortunately)! I would just take note if you feel like contractions are getting anymore frequent/stronger. Then that is a sign of something might be happening.

Baby will come when baby wants to come. I wouldn’t stress. Pre-labor dilation doesn't mean anything and you can be dilated for weeks. Your cervix isn’t a crystal ball and cannot predict labor. Cervical dilation tells you nothing but where you are in the moment.
